Abstract
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of accelerated drug development and approval has been well-resonated throughout the world. However, the drug development process is tedious, takes enormous time and resources, and requires regulatory approval. Innovation and financial efficacy are crucial to speeding up the process as industries strive to balance these two parameters. Through qualitative methodology, this research provides project management-related measures to improve innovation and cost control activities in the biopharma industry. It discusses the factors impacting innovation and sustainability and action items for the organization to improve its quality.
