Project Description

Proton NMR spectroscopy is used to differentiate between the two isomeric forms of glucose. The kinetics and rate constant associated with the interconversion of one isomeric form to the other was monitored via changes in peak area over time. A rate constant was measured and found to be in very good agreement with literature value reported. (Class Project)
