Abstract
The architectural and construction business places great importance on safety and regulatory compliance because of its inherent high-risk nature and strict legal obligations. The prevalence of accidents and infractions at construction sites underscores the imperative for enhanced safety management systems and compliance with rules, notwithstanding substantial endeavors. The main objective of this study is to examine the many elements that impact the effectiveness of safety management, adherence to regulations, and the development of a safety culture, with the ultimate purpose of improving safety outcomes on construction sites.
The issue statement pertains to the difficulties associated with safety management and compliance with rules, with a particular emphasis on the adverse effects on employee well-being and productivity. Effectively managing safety systems in the face of changing regulatory frameworks is essential to reduce the occurrence of deaths, injuries, and project delays.
The literature review offers a thorough examination of the significance of workplace safety within the context of project management. The text examines several facets, such as promoting safe habits, implementing safety programs, and fostering a safety culture. Suggestions encompass delivering safety instruction, setting cooperative objectives, and performing continuous evaluations to enhance adherence to regulations and safety results.
To summarize, although the current study recognizes the significance of safety protocols, there is a requirement for all-encompassing remedies to tackle the issues of safety culture and adherence to regulations in the construction industry. Future studies should prioritize the identification and resolution of obstacles that impede regulatory compliance, as well as the efficient implementation of safety measures within building sites.
